Richard Agan
April 14, 2011 Richard "Rick" Agan, 71, of Mountain View, Hawaii, a retired recreation director for the city Department of Parks & Recreation at Lanakila Center, Honokaa Recreation Center, Hilo Armory and Waiakea Uka Gym, died at home. He also was a retired Air Force master sergeant and first sergeant who served in the Vietnam War. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Teri King-Agan; sons Kevin K. Katayama and Richard K. "Ricky" Agan II; daughter Jessica King; mother Emily; brothers Andres "Nato" Jr., Gordon and Nathan; sisters Barbara Respicio, Marlene Manzano, Charlotte Paiva, Brenda Okano and Laura Medeiros; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 4 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 6 p.m. Private committal services at a later date. Casual attire. No flowers.
