Franz Smeisser, 68, of Honolulu, a retired Host International, Sky Chef and American Airlines maintenance supervisor and manager, died in Honolulu. He was born in Nainz, Germany. He is survived by wife Barbara M.; daughters Gailynn Gomes and Teri Reed; sisters Ingard Castelluci, Heida Gans and Christa Neumann; and three grandchildren. Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Saturday at Gros Bonnet Culinary School, 1431 S. Beretania St. Casual attire.
