Franz Smeisser, 68, of Honolulu, a retired Host International, Sky Chef and American Airlines maintenance supervisor and manager, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Mainz, Germany. He is survived by wife Barbara M.; daughters Gailynn Gomez and Teri Reed; sisters Imgard Castelluci, Heida Gans and Christa Neumann; and three grandchildren. Celebration of life: 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Gros Bonnet Culinary School, 1431 S. Beretania St., Honolulu. Casual attire. Incorrect information in an obituary published yesterday.
