Clement Neki Hoohuli, also known as "Nick" and "Cap," 79, of Hilo, a retired captain with the state Department of Public Safety Corrections Division and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Kona. He is survived by wife Jacqueline; sons Duane and Deric; daughters Dianne Harvey and Dori A. Ayap; brothers Edward, Wilfred, William and Daniel; sister Elizabeth Panui; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation and graveside committal services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
