SHOICHI HARADA April 23, 2011 Shoichi Harada, 88, of Honolulu, a retired Castle & Cooke/Hawaiian Tuna Packers weighmaster and 442nd Infantry Regimental Combat Team/100th Battalion Company B veteran, died at Aloha Nursing & Rehab Centre. He was born in Mana, Kauai. He is survived by sons Walter S. Harada and Max W.Y. (Sharon) and Kirk K. Shinkawa; daughters Carol A. Yoshida, Ellen R. (Charles) Chong, Renae K. (Josh) Lamb, Barbara K. Pang-Chew, Alicia M. (Steve) Kawasaki and Sharlene S. Yamaguchi; sister Doris M. Porter; fourteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Service: May 11 (Wed.) at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation at 5:00 p.m. Service at 6:00 p.m. Inurnment: May 12 (Thurs.) at Hawaii State Veteran Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.
