75Wallace Takeshi Nagao, also known as “Wally” and “Doc,” 92, of Manoa, a retired state Department of Agriculture division head (animal industry), former ranch veterinarian and small-animal veterinarian on the Big Island, died at home. He also was an Army veteran who served in World War II with the Military Intelligence Service and member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by son Larry Y., daughter Janice M. and brother Stanley S. Private services. Donations suggested to St. Francis Hospice, American Red Cross or Operation Kids.
