Abraham D. Lucas, 63 of Honolulu died on April 6, 2011. He was employed by Marriot Foods, Inc., /Sodexho for 41 years. He was born on August 31, 1947 in Honolulu HI to Rodrigo S. Lucas (deceased) and Lourdes D. Lucas.
He loved to draw comic book characters and roman soldiers. He just started to draw Hawaiian Kings & Queens before the Lord took him into his heavenly kingdom. When his nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews would come over to the house he would draw for them. His favorite hang out was at Ala Moana Shopping Center at Jungle Fun where he would cruise and buy things for them. He would also go to 7Eleven to buy goodies for our Mom. He was a man with a big heart who cares for everyone that he met.
He is survived by his mother, Lourdes D. Lucas, his brothers, Frank D. Lucas and Christopher Chadlin, sisters, Misty Marlo, Susan (Benjamin) Baniaga and Gloria D. Lucas aka Chips, Nieces, Nephews, Grand Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be held at St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church on May 14, 2011, Family viewing at 8:30 am, 9:00 am public viewing, Mass at 11:00 am then lunch to follow. We will depart at 1:15 pm to Hawaiian Memorial Park, burial at 2:00 pm.
