81Walter Van Olival, 83, of Ewa Beach, formerly of Hilo, a retired taxi driver, died in Hawaii Medical Center West. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by brothers Frederick and Wilfred, and sister Florence Craig. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire.
