Of Kaneohe, peacefully went home to Jesus on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Born on July 28, 1948 in Honolulu.

She is survived by her husband Glen, sons: Sam, Reggae (wife Heather), Roger (wife Lauren), daughter Stacy, sister Faith, and five grandchildren.

“Aunty Sharon” worked for Queen Lili’uokalani Children’s Center Ko’olaupoko Unit as a Community Building Facilitator. 2010 Ola Pono award winner, an achievement recognized for excellence in the field of social work signifies her commitment and dedication to the health and well-being of Hawaii’s youth, families, and community.

Her life will be celebrated and remembered on Saturday May 21, 2011 at the Waimanalo Hawaiian Homestead Halau. Visitation at 8:30 a.m. and service will begin at 10:00 a.m.
