Anthony A. Rodrigues Sr., also known as “Tony Hot Rod Rodrigues” and “Uncle Tony,” 69, of Hilo, a retired plumbing contractor and owner of Rodrigues’ Plumbing, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Paula; sons Anthony Jr., Eric, Nathon and Nicholas; daughters Tami Horne and Winnie Salazar; sisters Emmie Sherman and Ellie Hood; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Hot rod memorial run to follow at the King Kamehameha Statue on Bishop Street in Hilo. Casual attire. No flowers.
