GWENDOLYN STERLING
A funeral Mass will be held for Gwendolyn Miriam Sterling, 82 of Chico, CA June 7, 2011 at 10A.M. at St Augustin of Canterbury Anglican Church. She passed away on Friday June 3, 2011 in Chico, CA.
Gwen was born May 7, 1929 to Jack and Constance Botelho in Honolulu, Hawaii. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1947 and in 1952 she graduated from the University of Hawaii. Gwen was employed by Hawaiian Airlines and Central Union Church Preschool before going to work in Dean's office at Punahou School. After retiring she relocated to Chico to be near family.
Her survivors include her husband James V. Sterling Jr. of Chico; two sons James "Kimo" (Carolyn) of Colorado, Jack (Darien) of Chico; two daughters, Gayle (Tony) Souza of Wahiawa, Hawaii, Pamela (Bill) Boker of O'Fallon, MO; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
