80Joseph Pilialoha “Joe” Vesperas Sr., 68, of Hilo, a taxi driver at Hilo Harry’s Taxi, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by sons Kirt and Joseph P.; daughters Carla Vesperas and Rhonda Morris; brothers Frank and Pablo Vesperas, and Walter and Wallace Naope; sisters Priscilla Carvalho and Yolanda Vesperas; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 10 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2.
