FREDERICK “FRED” DUHAYLONSOD

“Fred” Duhaylonsod, 72, of Honokai Hale, an Army veteran (tank driver), retired Naval Air Station Barbers Point employee and “Way Bac Wenn” musician, died at Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Kahuku, raised in Damon Tract. Predeceased by parents Ambrocio and Alija Atis Duhaylonsod, brother Delfin and sisters Virginia Batungbacal and Frances Munar. He is survived by his wife Fran; sons Daren (HaeYong), Damon (Karen), Dietrix and Dutro; daughters Debra and De Andra (Darryl) Dew; hanai daughter Jahna; brothers Pete Duhay and Ronald Duhaylonsod; sisters Remedios Magalion and Betty Deinhardt; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Wake Services: 6:30 p.m. June 20 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Visitation 5:30 pm. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. June 21 at the mortuary. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
