Anderson Duane Black
May 29, 2011 Anderson Duane Black, 83, of Lanai City and Honolulu, a retired Dole and Castle & Cooke business manager, Lanai Community Hospital and Hawaii Humane Society administrator, County of Hawaii director of research and development, educator, author and playwright, died in Arcadia Retirement Residence. He was born in Jackson, Mich. He is survived by wife Sheila, sons Ralph and John, daughters Robin Black and Liat Bearden, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Private services.
