Age 96, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away June 1, 2011 in Honolulu. Born February 27, 1915 in Puukolii, Maui. Former owner of Kuhio Park Concession and Honolulu Barber Shop. She was also a member of the Japanese Women’s Society and Honolulu Barber’s Association.
She is survived by sons, Ron (Yoshiko) Nakatsu, Wilfred (Debbie) Yamashita of CA, Douglas Yamashita; daughters, Doreen (Tom) Yamamoto, Annie M. Yamashita-Okuda; brother, Shigeru (Ethel) Okamoto of CA; sisters, Shizuko Kagimoto, Yukie Matsuda; numerous nieces & nephews; 12 grandchildren, Jeannette, Doreen, Robbie & Bobbie Nakatsu; Kurtis, Craig, Cary & Kelly Yamamoto; Brandi Yamashita; Earl Okuda, Jr., Gina L. Okuda-Stauring and Hillary Stroble; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation 5:30 p.m. Tuesday (June 28) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Memorial Service 6:30 p.m. Casual Attire.
