Iopu Fale Jr.
May 18, 2011 Iopu Fale Jr., 50, of Aiea, a Farrington High School special education teacher, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by hanai sons Abel and Kinston Kerisiano, Tivia Fuimaono, Siaosi Siaosi, Sapati Laloulu, Anthony Samuelu, Raymond Melei, Wesley Akeli and Mario Fatafehi; hanai daughters Ariel Griffen, Talia Ng-Satoga, Pennylaine Vaelua, Hailey Satoga, Kiara Griffin, Lalago Soi, Keila and Kaitlyn Salave‘a, Marlene Lafaele, Si‘i Maiava, Salamasina Fuimaono, Taimane Fale, Monalisa Mareko and Vailua Tafao; father the Rev. Iopu Sr.; brothers William F. and Franklin Fale, and Gabriel Griffin; sisters Sua Taiti, Penifea Satoga, Lenora Fale and Lorena M. Fooks; hanai brothers Dwayne K. Kaulia, Hauoli Akaka, Piapo Nihipahi, Keawe Lopes, Mataio Pulusila and Sio Filipo; and hanai sisters Susan Manuma, Amanda Salanoa, Meleane Tafao, Tiresa Pagofie, Saipeti Lafaele, Felili Filipo, Tologa Ioelu, Ku‘ulei Akaka and Tracy Lopes. Services: 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday at Moanalua Community Church. Burial: noon Saturday at Valley of the Temples. Additional information for an obituary published Saturday.
