72Julia Ramona Wedemeyer Medeiros, 82, of Hilo, a homemaker, died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. She was born on Oahu. She is survived by sons Michael K. and William H.; daughters Ramona L.H.M. Ferreira, Gayle M. Fergerstrom and Penny R.M. Miranda; brothers Michael P. and Johannes "Hans" Wedemeyer; sisters Irene W. Cordeiro-Vierra and Pansy W.L. Medeiros; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and hanai children. Visitation: 4 p.m. Thursday at Imiola Congregational Church, Waimea. Services: 6 p.m. Graveside services: noon Friday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2, Hilo. Casual attire.
