Ronald P.Q. Ho (76), loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away quietly on June 23, 2011 in Glendale, California, with family by his side.

He was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, elder son of the late Woon and Helen Ho. Ron attended Stevenson Intermediate School and graduated from Roosevelt High School (class of 1952), where he made many lifelong friends. After moving to the mainland to continue his education, Ron received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA in 1957, with a major in arts, and made a career as an Art Director.

A lifelong Bruin supporter, he enjoyed watching UCLA football and basketball games. Collecting militaria was also one of his favorite pastimes.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janice Ho. Also survived by daughters, Rona (Tim) Minami, and Cheryl (Scott) Leising; granddaughter, Jadery Leising; brother, Stanley (Prudy) Ho; nephew, Ron Ho; niece Li Anne (John) Riley and sons; and nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services were held on July 1, at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
