Age 89, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, passed away May 21, 2011 in Wahiawa. Born September 15, 1921 in Hakalau, Big Island. Retired H.P.D. Sergeant after 32 years of service. A WWII veteran serving with the 27th Infantry Division. A Deacon serving at the First Baptist Church of Wahiawa.
He is survived by son, Steven (Lila) Carlos; daughters, Cynthia (Dr. Ghim) Yeoh, Phyllis (Wayne) Ogasawara, Aileen (Robert) Nichols, Gaylene (Cindy) Carlos; nephew, Ronald Akamu; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; many nephews and nieces.
Visitation 9:00 a.m. Saturday (July 23) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Burial 11:00 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. No flowers, please.
