HELEN TOMIKO "Freckles" WATANABE, of Aiea, passed away on June 16, 2011. She was born on January 15, 1922 in Honolulu. She retired as a childrens' clothing buyer for the Navy Exchange at Pearl Harbor. She is survived by son, Guy Watanabe (Michele), daughters Cynthia Chapman, and Denise Watanabe-Lum (Stuart). She Is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by husband Shoichi Watanabe. Private services were held. No koden or monetary offerings.
