Age 91 of Honolulu passed away July 17, 2011 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Born in H-Poko, Maui on Sept. 9, 1919. Retired from Libby McNeil Cannery with 18 years service. Thereafter, dedicated her time and love to her family.
Married 70 years to the love of her life the late Joseph R. Fernandez. Son: Stanley J. Fernandez Sr. (deceased Nov. 2005). Taken cared by her loving daughter Lydia (Taddy) Roman; Granddaughters: Candy Sylva and Angel Paris Grandsons: Stan Jr, Clyde, Shawn and Michael Fernandez. Sisters: Mary Rodrigues and Lulu Martelles from Maui. Brother in-law: Tony (Masako) Fernandez; 18 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandsons.
Visitation 10:30 a.m., Monday Aug. 1, 2011 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Services 11:30 a.m.; lunch to follow, burial at 2:00 p.m. Casual Attire.
