DORIS S. K. MORISHITA
Doris S. K. Morishita, 79, of Kaneohe, Hawaii died Monday, July 18, 2011 at the home of her daughter in Pomona, California. She was born February 25, 1932 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was retired from Chaminade University of Honolulu where she worked in the Personnel department. She had also retired from Waikiki Realty-Kahala, Honolulu, Hawaii. She is survived by her husband, Yasuyuki Morishita; daughter, Teresa Morishita of Pomona, California; brothers, Bill (Betsy) Lum of Honolulu, Hawaii, Robert (Frances) Lum of Portland, Oregon, and Edward (Margaretha) Lum of Honolulu, Hawaii; sisters, Lillian Loo of Wasilla, Alaska and Gladys Wayas of Honolulu, Hawaii; and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her father, Anthony Hung Lun Lum; mother, Mew Yong Au Lum; and sister, Frances Chang.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 5:00-9:00 pm at Borthwick Mortuary with rosary service at 6:30 pm. Visitation and funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 9:00 am with mass at 10:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church-Kalihi, 640 Puuhale Road, Honolulu, Hawaii. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
