77Eileen Mary Apuna Gabonia, 59, of Honolulu, a state Department of Human Services retiree, died at home. She was born in Oakland, Calif. She is survived by husband Rufo; sons Jason Gabonia and Hector Alvarez; daughters Shannon Kahoano, Joyleen Gabonia and Zoe-Ann Kauka; mother Jennie Ah Pang; and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Private scattering of ashes at a later date. Aloha attire.
