Hisao Mikuni, 98, of Waipahu, a retired carpenter at Fort Shafter and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the Military Intelligence Service, died in Ewa Beach. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mitsuko, daughter Aileen, sisters Ayako Tagawa and Masako Kawai, and two grandchildren. Private services.
