ANTHONY “BLACK PANTHER” ANTONE LOPES

Age 83, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, passed away July 17, 2011 in Ewa Beach. Born June 29, 1928 in Ewa. Retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop II as a ship fitter. Member of Ewa Beach Assembly of God Church. World War II Veteran.

He is survived by daughters, Theresa L. (Semi) Sione, Christine L. Lopes, Antonette L. (James) Toro; 5 grandchildren, AJ Toro, Makena Utu, Jamee-Lee Toro, Malaefono Sione Jr, Feanai Sione; 6 great-grandchildren, Lei’c-Lee Toro, Leeland Toro, Landon Toro, Lex’c Rose Toro
Liliana Utu, Sapele Utu Jr.; brother, Daniel Antone Lopes; sister, Eliza (Thomas) Mahaulu; numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation 9:00 a.m. Monday (August 15) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 10:30 a.m. Committal Service 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Aloha Attire. Flowers Welcome.
