HELEN W. BUSSEY
92, formerly of Kailua & Kaneohe, passed away July 20, 2011. A beloved pre-school teacher for many years in many settings, including Parent Participation Nursery School (PPNS), Kailua & Marine Corps Base Kaneohe. She was instrumental in organizing a Hawaii chapter of The Compassionate Friends, a support organization for bereaved parents. She was a member of the Windward United Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her husband William H. Bussey and son William H. Bussey, Jr. (Capt., U.S. A.F.) Survived by son George D Bussey, MD (Moira), daughter Linda Clausen (Ken), Grandchildren Andrew Bussey (Heather), Megan B. Katz (Daniel), Cathy Chien (Louis), and Edward Clausen (Joanna), and four great-grandchildren.
