79Sayoko Taniguchi Kawasaki, 89, of Maple Valley, Wash., formerly of Hilo, a retired KTA Supermarket store clerk, died at home. She was born in Waiakea, Hawaii. She is survived by daughter Lillian Asato, sister Sachiko Chun, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
