Lane Beall Venardos, 67, of Wailea, Maui, a former CBS News vice president, died at home. He was born in Alton, Ill. He is survived by wife Karen; son Kevin; daughters Kelly V. Ward, Kimberly Venardos and Kasey V. Gilhuly; brother John; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Theresa Church, Kihei, Maui.
