David Kaneji Oishi, 73, of Honolulu, a retiree of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Services in Manoa, clerk typist and University of Hawaii athletics department scorekeeper, died. He also was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by stepbrothers Arthur and Donald, and stepsister Barbara. Private services. No monetary offerings. Incorrect information was given in an obituary Tuesday.
