Matsuji “Mutt” Sakumoto, 87, of Waialua, an Army veteran who was a member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, died in Waialua. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by wife Ayako, sons Glenn and Gary, sisters Kimie Watanabe and Saeko Kakimoto, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 9 a.m. No flowers.
