72Valerie Gayle Pualani Luiz Amina, 54, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a Pahoa Elementary School A+ site coordinator, died in the Queen’s Medical Center. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband David K.; sons Davy Kamalii and Joshua Luiz; daughters Daysha Mendes, Andrea Anastacio, Cumorah Kamalii and Jaimie Luiz; mother Barbara; brother Alex “Tykie”; sisters Jolyn Caingles and Darnelle Pacheco; and 15 grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pahoa Ward in Orchidland. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
