74Julie Ann Ilima Maertens, 68, of Hawaiian Beaches, Pahoa, Hawaii, a store clerk, died at home. She was born in Kohala. She is survived by husband Robert E. “Bobby” Sr.; sons Wesley Neula and Robert E. Maertens Jr.; daughters Paulette Mendez, Suzette Neula, Caulette Reed and Cheryl Barron; mother Beatrice Chau; brothers Melvin and Rudy Chau; sister Bernie Cunningham; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Celebration of life and potluck will take place at noon Saturday at Mahukona. Casual attire.
