75Masateru Oketani, 88, of Honokaa, Hawaii, a retired Hamakua Sugar Co. machinist and Paauhau Sugar Co. employee, died at home. He was born in Paauhau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Tomoe "Violet"; sons Denis, Alan and Arthur; sisters Akino Honda, Fujiko Rillanos, Yoshie Kuroda and Clara Murakami; and nine grandchildren. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hamakua Jodo Mission in Paauhau. Services: 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire.
