73Pedro Cortez, 85, of Kahului, a Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Co. crew chief, died in Hale Makua, Kahului. He was born in Bantay, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Dolinda; sons Alvin, Daniel, Robin, Glen and Gil; daughters Leilani Cortez and Alisa Barido; sister Feliza Padre; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church. Mass: 11:30 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
