William Chandler Alo, 96, of Kahului, a former clerk for the Maui County auditor’s office, died at home. He was born in Wailuku. He is survived by daughters Jocelyn Vida, Carole Davis, Elaine Binkie and Mona Hashimoto; hanai son Mark Alo; brother Roland “Kamakau”; granddaughter and caretaker Billi-Jo Spenser; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
