73Sophia K. Adams Akui, 84, of Kaneohe, a retired manager of Whitney’s in Kaneohe, died in Kailua. She was born in Koolau-poko, Hawaii. She is survived by sons David M. III, William H. and Daniel K.; daughter Sophia K.T. Kaneakua; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at Borthwick Mortuary, Maunakea/Vineyard chapel.
