WARD H. BUSCHER
67, passed away on Saturday, Sept 3, 2011. Retired president of J. H. Buscher Co., Inc., he is predeceased by mother, Glenna (Moore) Buscher Champion, father Williard H. Buscher and stepfather, E. R. Champion. Ward attended Punahou School and graduated from Hawaii Preparatory Academy.
Affectionately known as "Papa" to many, Ward is survived by children Shannon and son-in-law Chris Iannotta of NJ, Wade and daughter-in-law Mikal (Berry) of AK, Ian and daughter-in-law Tracy (Zimmerman) of Kailua. His pride and joy were his 4 grandchildren, Caylin, Zachary, Lauren and Sierra. Ward also leaves behind brother Harry and sister-in-law Lin (Holland), 3 nieces and a nephew.
A Celebration of Life was held at Holy Nativity Church on September 10th. Donations may be made in Ward's memory to Hawaii Preparatory Academy, 65-1692 Kohala Mtn. Rd., Kamuela, HI 96743 Attn: Keawe Liu.
