Stanford Woodruff Shutes Jr., 70, of Waimea, Hawaii, a retired teacher, coach and administrator at Hawaii Preparatory Academy, and an Army Infantry veteran, died at home. He was born in South San Francisco. He is survived by wife Sharon, son Andrew, daughter Christina and five grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Hawaii Preparatory Academy's Davies Chapel. Reception to follow at HPA's Waiaka House. No flowers.
