John Frederick Ogawa, 72, of Columbia, S.C., formerly of Kaneohe, a civil service retiree and an Army retiree, died in Columbia. He was born in Kaneohe. He is survived by wife Bobby Frances, daughter Michelle Vest, sons Daniel Ogawa and Sven “Brian†Gaines, brother Daniel “Uncle Buzz,†sister Lettitia “Auntie Lei†Fernandez and a grandchild.
