Toshio Gibo, 93 of Hilo, a retired civil servant at Kadena Air Base on Okinawa and an Army veteran who served in World War II with Company C, 100th Battalion, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Koloa, Kauai. He is survived by son Ken; daughters Keiko Shewmaker, Hitomi Doi and Setsuko Tamura; brother Shigeru; sister Nancy Shintani; and seven grandchildren. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
