George Y. Ishibashi, 78, of Koloa, Kauai, a retired superintendent and a Coast Guard veteran, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born on Kauai. He is survived by wife Sueko "Sue," sons Peter and John, brothers Paul and Robert, sisters Ruth Nishiyama and Joyce Yokoyama, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at the Veterans Cemetery Pavilion in Hanapepe. Services: 11:30 a.m. Private inurnment.
