Age 58, died @ home September 10, 2011. Awapuhi and her family lived in Waimanalo, she was raised in her early childhood days on Keanae, Maui. She worked as a house cleaner. She loved all things of the Hawaiian Culture. She had such a Beautiful Smile that could Brighten anyones day. "Her family truely misses her and loves her very much". Survied by her husband of 38 years, JOSEPH LIMALOA MACHADO; Sons: Irwin Saffery III, Jarrett "Kalipo" (Tammy) Machado; Daughters: Kimberly (Gilbert) Machado, Dal-jean (Joe) Kipapa; 5 Grandsons; 12 Grand Daughters; 2 Sisters: Shirley Wilcox; Diana Kupahu, lots of nieces and nephews. She will be reunited with her parents, Esther & Irwin Saffery, her brothers: Irwin Jr. "Shot Gun" & Kalani, Sister: Steven, and her Hanai Son: Steven Kalani Wilcox. "Celebration of her new life".
