71Mercedes Sayoot Urbanez, 87, of Kailua-Kona, a nursery employee at McConnell Nursery, died at home. She was born in Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She is survived by sons Ereneo and Danilo; daughters Norma Leyo, Shoney Dadpaas and Virgina Yesan; sister Luz Nolasco; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
