Age 78, of Pearl City, Hawaii, passed away September 25, 2011 in Pearl City. Born October 20, 1932 in Wakayama City, Japan. Michiko was a former employee of Tapestries by Hauoli. She was a member of Soto Mission - Aiea.
She is survived by husband, George Akahori; sons, Al Akahori, Ed Akahori; brothers, Ryuichi (Etsuko) Yoshida, Tsutomu (Fumiko) Yoshida; sister, Takako (Norio) Honma.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. Monday (October 17) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Memorial Svc. 10:30 a.m. Burial 11:30 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
