JOHN K. LEE, JR.
In Loving Memory JOHN K. LEE, JR. John K. Lee, Jr., of Agana Heights, Guam passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. He was born on November 8, 1938 in Honolulu, Hawaii to John K. Lee, Sr. and Sui Yin Lam Ryan. John began his 48 year career at First Hawaiian Bank as a mail clerk in 1958 and relocated to Guam in 1971. He worked his way up to Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of the Guam & CNMI Region before his retirement in 2007. John was passionate about education and contributed to the Guam Community College by serving on the GCC Foundation Board of Governors for over 20 years. He loved golf, traveling, and most especially spending time with his family. John was named the 1998 Executive of the Year in Guam, and served in a number of other community organizations including the Guam Chamber of Commerce, Guam Visitors' Bureau, and the American Red Cross. He is survived by wife Clare Sgambelluri Lee and their children and spouses: Edward G. Lee, Denise Lee Reyes & Edwin Reyes, Robert Cruz and Ana Cid-Cruz, Stephanie Friedman, Joseph Cruz and Kelly Yamashita; sisters: Lenora Lee Cassil, Lila Lee Umiamaka, and Helene Ryan; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, five brother-in-laws and four sister-in-laws, and numerous other extended family members. Viewing and Last Respects and Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Agana Heights on Monday, October 17, 2011.
