Crusito Cruz, 96, of Hilo, a retired carpenter's helper and laborer, and an Army veteran, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by son Arcillio Torres; daughters Susie Franco, Ketheryn Mercado and Elsie Sanchez; and 27 grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Oct. 28 at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home. Inurnment to follow at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery No. 2.
