Richard Hiroshi Nakanishi, 73, of San Mateo, Calif., a medical technologist, botanist and a former Army first lieutenant died in Everett, Wash. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Doris, son Dean and three grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Nov. 19 at Honolulu Christian Church. Casual attire. No flowers.
