JACQUELINE VIRGINIA ALMEIDA

Age 81 of Honolulu passed away peacefully on September 30, 2011. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.

We will be forever grateful for having such a loving, caring and supportive Mom and Grandma. We would also like to thank the caring and professional staff of St. Francis Hospice for everything they did for our Mother.

Jacqueline is survived by sons: David Almeida (Diana), Glenn Almeida, and daughters: Debra Morgan (Jimmy), Marlene Quinones (Jimmy); eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Private services.

Bill Hugh passed away on September 21, 2011. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan, in 1989 and is survived by sons Brian, David, daughters Barbara, Nancy, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Bill was raised in Cloverdale, Surrey, B.C. He received his BS Ag in 1949 from the University of British Columbia and later his MS/PHD (1955) in Animal Genetics at the University of Minnesota.

His career included faculty positions at California State Polytechnic College (Pomona), Swine Program Director for Foxbilt Feeds (Iowa) and later became the Animal Science Swine Specialist at the University of Hawaii (26 years).

Upon retirement he relocated in 1989 to Halfmoon Bay on the B.C. Sunshine Coast.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Halfmoon Bay, B.C., Canada.
