74Solomon Paleka Ono Sr., 88, of Las Vegas, a pastor, died at home. He was born in Waimea, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Janice Brewer; sons Solomon Ono Jr. and James B. Ononui; daughters Patricia Nakama, Yvonne Gonsalves, Yvette Blake, Rose Shaw, Marieanne Ferreira and Lani Ononui; brothers Lindy and Norman Akita; sisters Eleanor Mihal and Alice Zenger; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services held in Las Vegas.
