71Manuel John "Manny" Emproso Sr., 74, of Kapaa, Kauai, a state manager for Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital, died at home. He was born in Lihue. He is survived by wife Naomi; sons Manuel "John" Jr. and Jacob; daughters Lisa Emproso and Jennifer Penias; adopted daughter Mandy; brothers Domingo Alisna and Alejandro Alesna; sister Beatrice Ancheta; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Nov. 10 at Saint Catherine's Catholic Church, Kapaa. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery.
